Cool Ruler 2-onscreen ruler for measuring images (in art/anim. section)

Fontview-a utility for browsing through your font folder (creates previews) in software section

Font Creator 2-a good program used for creating fonts. You can import bitmap images into it, allowing you to create almost anything. Ive used it myself (in software section)

Shuffler music Converter- convert mp3s into .wav's and .wma's, and vice versa. Also in software section

Still using Windows 95? Then you NEED Font Smoothing This makes the appearance of onscreen fonts MUCH better. trust me, i used to have win95. This program comes with all versions of windows starting with win98

Little known fact: At the end of the song 'Through the Red' off of At the Gates' album, 'With Fear...' is a hidden cover song of Discharge's 'The Nightmare Continues', only its really not that hidden at all. Actually, it sounds like it's the second half of 'Through the Red'. But dont be fooled, its not.

i have decided to review two new cds i recently acquired.
The first is the new C.O.C. album, America's Volume Dealer

i have decided that.........it couldve been better. The best song on the album is definitely the album opener, "Over Me". The rest is less than spectacular. I mean, its not a bad album, but Wiseblood it is not. The album has the over all vibe of Wiseblood, but with more of a southern rock feel to it. Unfortunately, they appear to be mellowing in their age. Pity.


The next is Deicide's new one, 'Insineratehymn'
This one is (yet again) a new sound for Deicide. Whereas Serpents of the Light was a speed-death metal album, they appeared to have slowed down with this one a bit. Not that it's any less good. But maybe it is. A couple songs havent grown on me yet, but the third track, "Standing in the Flames" is a totally killer track. This is my idea of a great death metal song.This album also shows them departing from their trend of having a cool, yet blasphemous cover, to a more simple design, that being just a design made out of three 6's. Over all, this is a good cd. not their best, but definitely worth buying.
